比較の書きかえ
- 次の文は、原級・比較級・最上級を用いて同じ意味に書きかえることができます。

いろいろな比較表現
| senior to ～ 「～より年上の」 | \(\Leftrightarrow\) junior to ～ 「～より年下の」 |

- 語尾が -or で終わる比較級の語は than ではなく to を用います。to は前置詞なので、後に続く (代)名詞は目的格になります
