動詞の後に〈目的語 \(+\) 不定詞〉が続き、不定詞(句)が「~を」を表す直接目的語 \([DO]\)の第 \(4\) 文型 \(SVOO\) になります。 目的語と不定詞の間には、意味上 〈\(\color{blue}{S+V}\)〉 の関係が成り立ちます。 下の文では、〈\(me\)〉が〈\(to\;study\)〉の意味上の主語になるので、\(\color{blue}{I\;study}\) harder. |

この文型では、〈目的語 + 不定詞〉の部分が意味上 S + V の関係にあるので、この部分を \(\boldsymbol{that}-\)節に置きかえることができます。その際、用いる動詞によって、「目的語」がつく場合とつかない場合があります。〈\(\boldsymbol{S+V+O\;+}\) 不定詞〉
